its kinda boring to be honest, its just a different instrument with a different color and like a bohemian border and crazy squiggles, nothing awesome. The pic pack just has all the different instrument pictures in red and white. Kinda goodm, but a big letdown, but good news, pics are 100g and theme is 150g, so pretty cheap.

That's the best theme I've ever seen of any themes for download on XBL, I'm surprised everyone here isnt psyched about it. The picture themes are pretty cool too, I think.

They're free on PS3 but it's only one pic. People weren't too happy a few weeks ago with the RE 5 one when it was the same on both systems but MS charged for it.

I like the system blade but the other 3 aren't so great.

Yea like what they did with Bullet Witch. Think it's about 340 points for the extra missions and they're all free in Japan,didn't even put all of them out here. Then there was that Gears of War mess and the previously mentioned RE 5 thing.

And as far as "lots of themes being free", I disagree. Very few are free. Rare, Gears of War, and Borat are the only that come to mind immediately. While I am sure there are more, it doesn't change the fact that it is the same as charging you to change your wallpaper on your home computer.

Customization using marketing materials shouldn't be considered a bloody privilege.

well that all depends on where you buy the points from, i can get 4000 points for $35, which makes that about $.87 for 100 points, making 150 points about $1.30, so i was off, but not by that much

For those interested in the gamer pics, according to the xbox.com forums, there are the 8 or 12 and they look like the four different instrument icons. (4 instrument icons times 2 or 3 color choices for each instrument)

I beg you people, please stop buying these overpriced themes and gamerpics. This is the reason it costs over $2 per DLC song in Guitar Hero (and possibly Rock Band). There's no way Activison or EA can charge iTunes-like prices for tracks when people happily throw that much or more on a few avatars or four wallpaper images. Considering the relative efforts involved to create new tracks, the prices Activision's charging for DLC are a steal. Seriously, how could they charge any less when these things cost as much or more than an iTunes song? I hate the GH DLC pricing, but considering this, I can't honestly fault them for their pricing considering how the pricing scheme on Marketplace has been established. Buying these from EA is only going to help EA justify higher DLC pricing.

It amused me how many people complained about the GH DLC cost on the xbox forums, yet had a gamerpic in their profile that cost over a dollar. IMO, these should be free if you buy the game. ...and how lame is it that you can't preview these before you buy them.

If the RB DLC costs the same as the GH DLC tracks, there better not be one negative peep coming from anyone who bought these packs, because they're partly at fault for driving up Marketplace prices.
