Being Invited Doesnt Work? Only Takes Me To Local Band.????????????

Dont know whats going on here, but anytime i accept an invatation it just takes me to local band, not online, so i cant playwith my friends

If it works anything like on the 360, it takes you to a "Choose local players" screen. From there, you choose your local player(s) and click "Join Band." That should then connect you with your online buddy.
