I downloaded it, played it a few times, but I deleted it before going online, because its pretty annoying and gets old fast, and some people have a terrible fixation with dlc that they can only play dlc songs so of course with a bunch of people only haveing that one d*mn song, it plays way to much. I really wish it wasn't free so that everyone would not have paid to download it and pick it all the time.....

I just got the game, so I only have a bit of DLC so far (Boston pack, Sabbath Pack, Classic Rock pack and some singles), but I intend to get everything except the stuff that doesn't interest me (which would be the thrash pack, scene pack, oasis pack, and the punk packs...still on the fence about the QotSA pack...I like the songs, but I don't think they're that much fun to play).

I just did some quickplay this weekend and got set as leader (a vocalist the leader?? never! :eek: ) with two string players. One asked if I had "Still Alive" and when I said I did, he said, "Great! Let's play that. I call guitar!" At the difficulty screen, the other guy beat him to the guitar and he got all pissed off and quit. Oy... I wanted to leave but the song started and I didn't want to be rude.

We have, I think, 41 DLC songs. It is not my Xbox, so I only have a minor say in what we get. See my sig...

How much DLC do you have?

I try to only get what I believe I would enjoy playing... so about half of it. The thing is, I have not played the game since the "classic" pack came out, so I am a couple of weeks behind.

All I am missing is:
Thrash Pack (Nope, not ever getting this one. The only appeal is the challenge, and God knows I have enough of that going on right now (Damned "Green Grass And High Tides" and "Shockwave"! *Shakes fist at "New" label beside those songs*)

Scene Pack (No interest in any of the songs and the charts didn't really do anything for me, so that's a pass)

Queens Of The Stone Age Pack (No interest in this band at all. In fact, I don't see their appeal. Terrible lyrics, terrible guitar, drums seem challenging but not fun at all (see "Go With The Flow"). Overall, just looks like a crappy pack from what I consider to be a bunch of no-talents)

Metallica Pack (Although I did purchase this pack (what was I thinking?) I have since deleted it. The only song worth mentioning is "Ride The Lightning" and even that was not fun to play at all)

Nine Inch Nails - "The Collector" & "March Of The Pigs" (Not a huge fan of Nine Inch Nails but I really do love "The Hand That Feeds" and "The Perfect Drug". Regardless, these two songs are really bad and the charts are that much worse (who decided it was a good idea to chart the piano to guitar?))

That's all I'm missing, unfortunately for a lot of people here I don't play online (no Gold membership)

I buy most everything that comes out. The stuff I don't have is Sick Sick Sick, Cherry Bomb, We Care Alot, Dirty Little secret, It Hurts, Blinded by Fear, and Date with the Night. Some of the stuff I regret buying but I use Prizerebel (check my sig) to get points so I become somewhat carefree with my points.

Just got the game and since I personally am not that good at it yet (although I try) I haven't been able to unlock many songs.....SO I went to the store and purchased a lot of them. About $75 worth. It's worth it though for when we have a nice large party...I plan on hooking it up to my DJ equipment and to a 12ft projection screen and playing it outside.

I have 3 H.S. graduations that I'm doing it for this summer, so far.....Every parent I present the idea to, LOVES IT because it'll keep everyone at the party interactive......

So I guess I'm kinda using it for a little bit of Karaoke too....it should be a fun summer.

I had planned to buy the YYY's song and maybe FOB but can't stand A&A but said "What the heck, I don't want to be one song short of having it all!"
