Ok, anyone else find it hard to get around some of the levels? Like the Grave-mind level was a pain in the ass. No weapons and no indication where you had to go next. I spent most of the time with a brute weapon hitting flood (green-thumb FTW!) while I stumbled through trying to avoid the guys on the walls shooting stuff at me :mad:

Even though you're right about telling him to post it in the other topics, You don't have to come in EVERY one and say "****ty game" or "this game sucks" in them. You're not helping or contributing to the topic in any way.

That's true, there are a ton of other thread where I could have posted story spoilers for all the people who haven't yet played the game and still wanted to be surprised. OR, I can do this and put the spoilers in one thread.

And if you're tired of threads that don't concern you in the General forum, then don't visit it.

Despite playing it for 5 hours last night, I have no idea what's going on in the story because I'm playing it coop with a friend who *****es about not knowing what's going on in the story. The kicker is that he does all his *****ing DURING THE CUTSCENES WHEN THEY'RE TELLING YOU WHAT'S GOING ON.

Arrgghh.

Dude, calm down. Its Halo 3, nothing else. This is designed for those who wanted to see the ending, like me, only to find it underwhelming. I know you're a bit of a PS3 (or is it general anti-360?) fanboy but lay off it. In the same way I'd stick out of a Killzone 2 thread (dont get me started on Killzone 1, let alone 2.. :p ), you should obviously stick out of Halo threads.

I beat Halo 3 six hours after I got it (Waited on line at midnight). Then I went to school to brag. I'm no Halo nerd. I don't really like Halo. I only played it because my brother bought it and wanted to play co-op. Read some of my other Halo related posts to understand what I do when I play online (Tea-Bag, teamkill, play *** butt sex songs in the mic, jump in front of a team mates bullets and boot them for TKing).

Yeah its likely to see Halo 4 as a release game for Xbox720 or whatever they will call it.

There can't possibly be a Halo 4. It said "finish the fight", and since I beat Halo 3 and saw the credits, the fight is over. They wouldn't lie to me like that since I was the only one who paid for the basic Halo 3 package, thus making me the biggest Halo fan out there omigah. I know I'm right because I agree with myself and my vote counts as two. There were no fighting scenes after the credits, so it's over omigah.

This is my theory for Halo 4.

I think Master Chief is Sigourney Weaver. You think he actually dies which would nicely wrap up the trilogy. Then Bungie and Microsoft decide they want to milk some more money out of the franchise and some scientists find some Master Chief DNA and make a Covenant/Master Chief hybrid.

It is also found out that Cortana is actually Winona Ryder.

well idk if there will be a halo 4. even with the faux ending i think bungie will keep to their word that halo4 will be the last in the series, ONLY IF halo wars makes them some dough $$$$ if not then halo 4 will be coming on either the next next gen or on 360 in 2 yrs. either scenario i lose as an avid halo-hater :(

I don't care what any of you ps3 owners think, beating halo 3 on legendary with 3 teammates is the most fun i've had playing a game in QUITE awhile.

Eman the only ps3 owner in this thread is me and i don't have anything against Halo 3 i actually can't wait to play it at my friend's house and Battle_Axe is the only one that hates Halo 3 so don't start judging people just because they're Ps3 owners.

So I played through on Heroic with a buddy and it was fantastic. However, I stayed away from this thread until I could finish the game on Legendary.

When you see Masterchief still alive in space, do you not get that ending unless you play on Heroic or above? I know that the end of legendary is different.

If you couldn't see it in YouTube, the planet the Master Chief finds himself descending towards is a planet that has a surface that is entirely metal. It's like a Halo, but either a planet or a Dyson Sphere. Either way, uh-oh.

I haven't heard about the other Halo trilogy. Not sure if it would be better taking place later in the timeline (closer to Marathon) or earlier (closer to the start of the Spartan program). Got a link?

No, I read it in a magazine. Also, Marathon is not considered Halo Canon. The guy who said it was part of the same universe does not work for Bungie, although he did when they made Marathon (and I think Halo). I know I read that one in Game Informer about 2 or 3 months ago.
