UK (Import) Bands not showing on website :(

Does anyone know a way round for UK users using a US import of the game to be able have their bands listed on the official site? It's driving me nutz!

We are using a PS3 and the name of the band (Which was originally funny after a crate or three of beers) is 'Cheggers and the Dreamboats'.

I'm assuming it's tied down to the fact that our PSN account originated from the UK!? The game connects and says that it is sending stuff online.

Anyway any help/advice would be greatly appreciated.

haha I kinda like the the band name


it makes me want to make one of keggers and dreamboats, and just switch the first letters... but before I even attempt it, will the game allow the title "deggers and kreamboats"? (i mean that last one can be taken quite badly :o )

shadebug - I'm not too sure I know how to go about doing that? I was under the impression that PSN account was decided on your countries Public IP range? I could be completely wrong. If so, I guess you are saying to choose my location as US instead of UK in the signup section. Could work.... But I take it we would lose a couple of months worth of the Band Progress as there is no known way of exporting the Rock Band data on the PS3?

yeah, you'd have to make a US profile and that would be the one to get on the ranking, but you'd be able to download the DLC, so it's not so bad (and the dlc you can use on your euro account
