IMO, music has gotten to the point that artists no longer put meaning and heart into their work. The Lyrics are the heart of any song and if a artist simply slaps on a catchy phrase and calls it a song, then it does particularly well... well its a shame.

So, I thought I'd make a thread and see what some of you people thought about deep lyric'ed music. It doesn't haft to be poetic or anything...

For Example, this is a great band called MeWithOutYou, its the whole album on a flash player and you cant download it so this should be fine posting it here. Click on the arrow on the bottom right of the player to see all the tracks. Make sure to check out the last song (In A Sweater Poorly Knit) on the album and have some fun.

What? Try some Porcupine Tree, Opeth, or Dark Tranquillity.

You rate your own thread a five before anyone even reads or responds? Lame.

So then rate it down.
Already did, mainly due to it being out of place in this particular subforum.

Can't speak for others, but no, I haven't. Good to see you're not ashamed about being called out, tho.
