I can't say I could argue with more Metallica. Though we've been promised an entire album right?

Blitzkrieg, Breadfan, Welcome Home (Sanitarium)

Agreed.

That said, I want to see the entire Master of Puppets album. The only problem is Orion(no vocals). I'm sure they can use the secondary mic feature for it, though.

If there's new DLC
I'll be the first in line
But it better be Megadeth this time

Haha.

For Whom the Bell Tolls would be a great addition. I'd like to see Dyers Eve on Rock Band. Absolutely insane solo.

Thats awesome

I'd rather have megadeth over metallica at the moment, ride the lightning was mainly the metallica that I wanted.

I agree with Megadeth.

However, any song from 80's metallica would do it for me, except instrumentals for obvious reasons (no vocals) unless there could be an option that you could play those songs without vocalists.

My personal favourites (top 3) would have to be

1. Battery
2. Fight Fire With Fire
3. Four Horsemen

Yes, please. We need more sellout bands in RB.

Yes please! We need more metallica, One and Master of Puppets at least!

I agree, we need more overrated songs.

Lol, I agree with that. Anyone that hasn't noticed Metallica hasn't sold out yet is a fool. Actually, everything from The Black Album to St. Anger is failure. However, it would be nice to see ONLY their work from the 80's.

I've gotta say we have enough boring repetitive simple music in RB.

Hungryfreak

Master of Puppets repetitive? Go sit in the corner, then see me after class and I'll decide how many times you need to write "Early Metallica is not repetitive" on the board.

I still laugh every time I hear people say Metallica sold out.

Mother****ers had sold a bajillion albums by the time they hit the Black/Load albums. How can millionaires sell out? They already had boatloads of money, die hard fans, and perpetually sold out tours.

Maybe, just maybe, after a decade of playing the same music, they decided to branch out and try something different. You're not going to be 18 drunk and angry forever. Eventually you become 30 drunk and angry, and 40 drunk and angry. Your music is going to evolve.

If you don't like the 90s era and on Metallica music, that's fair enough. Nobody is going to say you have to like the whole catalog. If you don't like them because of things they did as people, that's fine too; they aren't exactly saints. But it is absolutely stupid to insinuate that the most successful metal band of all time sold out after they became the most successful metal band. Last time I checked, selling out doesn't mean you make records less people like.

But you HAVE to agree, St. Anger blew chunks.

I don't get the whole "sell out" thing in music for ANYBODY, they're all full of crapola "it's all about the music". Just about every last band is in it for MONEY, WOMEN, ego, personal glory, narcissism, etc. Not that there's anything wrong with money and women. If they were "all about the music" they wouldn't be doing drugs and alcohol constantly and would only want women who understood their "artistry", give me a break.

If I had the choice for "critically acclaimed" music that kept me riding a school bus on tour or "selling out" for millions of dollars and loads of groupies guess which one I would choose...

Metallica, or anyone isn't going to be the same after becoming mega-rich, different problems, etc. Look at that touchy feely guru they had in some kind of monster, I don't care how rich I became, I would never have some "counselor" like that girly man clown they hired. They're not the brightest guys I've seen to say the least, and they've changed from sleeping on the floor to ballet recitals, surfing, collecting 5 million dollar paintings, etc.

Yeah, St Anger was a pile of steaming crap, but I think even Metallica realise that now. Saw them at Wembley last year and they didn't play a single track from that album. Thank God.

The rest is awesome though, but both the Black Album and Master of Puppets are obvious choices for a full album DLC release.
