I been looking at buying a wireless headphone setup (my wife says the 5.1 is too loud for when the kids are sleeping)...Does anybody know if there is a setup with 3 sets of headphones so each of the players would have a set when playing rockband (when there is no singer of course.)

You probably want something in Bluetooth. Logitech has great Bluetooth headphones.

they can't be used for singing. Do you mean headphones so they can just listen through headphones instead of speakers?

If I am correct any outgoing Bluetooth signal can connect with any Bluetooth enabled device. Am I right?
It'll cost ya either way though. Figure about $200+ for four headphones and a receiver.

not sure how the bluetooth headphones work, but i know for a while companies like sony have made wireless headphone sets with a main receiver that had the option to add more wireless headphones bought separately. with their inflated prices a set of 4 from sony probably would set you back more than $200 though. id suggest checking out avsforum for better feedback on something like this.

I get great deals on stuff like that from woot and ecost. I got my sennheiser sets from there for dirt cheap. Just put a splitter on your audio output and hook up 4 of those bad boys. Great sound, long range and good quality.

I second the vote for Sennheisers. There are some really awful wireless headphones out there, but the Sennheisers rock. Do not be tempted to save $15 bucks with another brand. You will regret it.

Yeah just put a www. and a .com at the ends. :) Another great way to spend more money on the net.

Yes, that is generally how it works. The devices both need to talk audio, though. As long as they are both audio devices (one transmitter and one receiver) and you can bind them you should be golden.
