Am I the only one that can't ever seem to get the talking parts on the vocals down? I mean, I seriously don't understand how you're supposed to do it. I say everything exactly how it sounds on the song, volume, sylabbles, and everything, but I can never seem to nail those parts consistently. One time I got 100% notes on expert vocals on Sabotage, then the next time I tried it I failed out. Is there some sort of trick I should know about? Cause this is driving me nuts.

Welcome to Rock Band, where vocalists are left to fend for themselves.

Speaking tracks are very difficult. My advise would be to start your words early, and then drag them out. Keep an eye on your pie; when it's full, you can stop talking for that phase - you won't accrue any more points. Doing it that way, you can start the following phase a split-second earlier.

No, you're one of many who are frustrated with this issue but unfortunately the developers haven't acknowledged that this is an issue or that they are working on it. We can only hope that the next patch or version of RB fixes it.
