What are you talking about?

What are you talking about?

This.

Mrs. Robinson? The one by Simon & Garfunkle, that the Lemonheads, Beatles, Oasis and Pennywise (among others) later covered?

And here's to you, Mrs. Robinson,
Jesus loves you more than you will know.
God bless you, please Mrs. Robinson.
Heaven holds a place for those who pray,
Hey, hey, hey

We'd like to know a little bit about your for our files
We'd like to help you learn to help yourself.
Look around you all you see are sympathetic eyes,
Stroll around the grounds until you feel at home.

And here's to you, Mrs. Robinson,
Jesus loves you more than you will know.
God bless you, please, Mrs. Robinson.
Heaven holds a place for those who pray,
Hey, hey, hey

Hide in the hiding place where no one ever goes.
Put it in your pantry with your cupcakes.
It's a little secret just the Robinsons' affair.
Most of all you've got to hide it from the kids.

Koo-koo-ka-choo, Mrs. Robinson,
Jesus loves you more than you will know.
God bless you, please, Mrs. Robinson.
Heaven holds a place for those who pray,
Hey, hey, hey

Sitting on a sofa on a Sunday afternoon.
Going to the candidate's debate.
Laugh about it, shout about it
When you've got to choose
Every way you look at this you lose.

Where have you gone, Joe DiMaggio,
Our nation turns it's lonely eyes to you.
What's that you say, Mrs. Robinson.
Jotting Joe has left and gone away,
Hey hey hey.

Hmmm...I don't see any science fiction talk in there...

I fail to see how its a ripoff. Maybe you care to evaluate further?

I'd say he's stretching those bits beyond breaking point

That's not true... While "Mrs Robinson" was written in English, "Still Alive" was written in C++!

This thread has just fallen into the pit of obscurity. (or did it start falling as soon as it was created?)

*BZZZZZ*! Wrong, but thanks for playing. As a consolation gift, you win a year's supply of Rice-A-Roni, the San Francisco treat! :D

Mrs. Robinson was written by Paul Simon, and first performed by Simon & Garfunkel

I was just mentioning the artists that actually recorded a cover version of it. Bon Jovi only did it live :p

After further research, it turns out the Beatles never did actually perform or record a version of that song. Sorry 'bout that :)

Ah, no wonder the song is so buggy. If only they would've written it in Python...

LOL! Probably the most ridiculous claim I have read on these forums, besides some of the crazily unrealistic DLC predictions. "Still Alive" is not anywhere close to Mrs. Robinson. Does the poster even know where "Still Alive" comes from? Perhaps you should provide some evidence or at least pseudo-evidence to support your blasphemous claims.

PS.....the cake is a lie.

"Still Alive" is the WORST thing that ever happened to Rock Band.

It's a mockery of humanity.

I found it highly amusing that it was in rock band. I love it though, because it is a part of something totally awesome.

My girlfriend loves singing it. I hate playing the drums. It's almost like a robot created the drum track. Hey!

Oh! Now I get it! Look at the lyrics of Still Alive. Now look at Mrs. Robinson. Can't you see the resemblence?

(I see no real resemblance...)
