Hi everyone,
I have a few questions:
-I already have GH2 for the 360 with the guitar set and found out the guitar will work with RB. To save money, I was thinking about ordering the game and drum set only since I already have the guitar from GH2. Do I need to purchase a hub in order to use both these peripherals together? I know the bundle pack says it comes with the hub.
-I pre-ordered the drum set and game from Amazon.com and received an email saying the release date has changed and won't be available until Jan. 2008. Is this true? EB Games lists it as coming out on Nov. 20.
-If I change my order and order the entire RB bundle pack, if I want to play against a friend, can I use both the GH2 guitar and the RB guitar? I heard that the RB guitar has extra buttons compared to the GH2 version. Can we also play on XBOX Live together?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Surprisingly, every single one of your questions have been asked. And answered. Several times.
Check the Forum Survival Guide at the top of this thread.

To actually help you with your questions, here are the answers.
Yes, you can use a RB guitar or the Xplorer for whatever you want. The RB has more, but not required.
There are 2 USB ports in the front of your xbox. If you're going to use more, you will need a hub. It's said that a hub will come with the special bundle (the bundle with the game, drums, guitar, and mic)
Don't pay attention to anything you're told about the release date. It's coming in November, we know that.

IErrant, I did that first. The guide was incomplete, and I went through 9 pages of that post before I realized most of it was banter.
Thanks MartyMcFly! I appreciate the response!

If you would have just checked the first page or two of this forum, you would have seen numerous posts regarding the "error" on Amazon's part pertaining to the change in release dates. That particular subject post ("WTF Amazon") stood out like a sore thumb by just its title.
BTW, here is the link to the story from Joystiq regarding this. I was one of them that alerted the staff at Joystiq regarding this error.
