assassin's creed style gameplay for a super hero game?

I could see it working for batman, but not so much for spiderman. Assassin's creed is a great game, and the history behind it is all athinetic. If they were to make another assassin's creed style gameplay game, I hope it's Assassin's Creed 2.

I haven't played Assassin's Creed so I'm not one to talk about it's gameplay, but from what I've seen and heard about it, I think it would lend itself well to a Batman game. Gotham City is a very vital part of the Batman comics and having a real-life Gotham City would be very important to a Batman game, it'd be very cool for Batman to walk among a realistic Gotham City street at night and fight random crimes and so on.

There'd have to be a really deep fighting system, I think, for a really in-depth game though. Batman has a lot of training in martial arts and fights a good deal of martial artists so I'd like it if there was more than just simple beat 'em up controls to the game (not saying Assassin's Creed has those, just saying that Batman games usually do).

I would also really like the detective aspects of Batman to be worked into the game somehow. I don't really have any idea of how they'd be able to construct really well done mysteries within the game world, but it'd be essential to "playing" Batman, imo.
