Please Help *adapter Question*

From what I understand there is an adapter to play guitar hero 1 on the ps3.Can somone give me a link to buy the adapter so i can play gh1/gh1 guitar for ps2 on my ps3? thanks in advance

There are two adapters available.

The most commonly found one is the Pelican adapter which you can find in video game stores all over. That will work for GH1 on the PS3 and has some limited functionality for GH2 on the PS3 as well, but doesn't work for GHE: 80's. I've heard it might work with the PS2 versions of GH3 and RB. It won't work with the PS3 versions of GH3 or Rock Band.

The TAC adapter that was linked to by GreyFoxx above reportedly works with the PS2 versions GH1 and maybe GH3 and RB on the PS3, but doesn't work at all with GH2 or GHE: 80's. It, however, WILL let you use your old PS2 guitars on the PS3 versions of GH3 and RB.

I own both the Pelican and the TheAntCommandos Adapters.

You will undoubtedly want to buy the TAC Adapter. To play GH1, apparently you need to flip the switch to "GamePad" (or GP). There's also a RB and a GH (or GH3) switch. I think those switches are self-evident as far as their purposes go...

The TAC adapter works flawlessly with GH1 on a PS3. Quite surprising, actually.
