problem with red drum pad

:mad: my red drum pad kinda broke off, but it still works cause i can see a wire still connected to the rest of the set. i guess when i stored the drums i wasnt careful cause when i went to get them, i saw the red pad dangling! OMG, will the superglue work?! i know the tape wont work...or will it?

Go buy some quickdrying epoxy, mix it up and fix it up that way. I doubt superglue would be strong enough to withstand constant beating. But something like this happened to me, and the epoxy holds up for quite a while if you do it right. And if you can find the little epoxy bottles, they're only like 2-3 bucks.

If you mean RMA, then DEFINITELY NOT! 'Signs of abuse' anyone?
Epoxy, let dry, let cure (they're different!). Repeat. I'd also strap a board under there for good measure.
