Ive never enjoyed hearing the stratocaster sound modifiers. Always makes the songs sound horrible in my opinion, yet whenever I play online there is always at least one person that will use them.

I just wanted to know if there is any option setting that will always make the notes sound normal?

He means for people that play online and turn their effects on. He wants a setting to turn off guitar effects online (maybe even overall) so they never happen, even if other people try to use them. I'm sure he knows how to turn his own effects off.

Don't think there is a way... but if you find it really annoying, you could always quit and play with someone else.

Yeah. I find the effects distracting, for the most part, when I'm trying to sing.

This would be a nice option to have, as well as the option to avoid hearing other players' whammy sounds. The worst sound IMO is a bassist using "wah-wah".

As a vocalist I agree with the above poster. It's really distracting when, for example near the end of Welcome Home, the guitarist decides to whammy all of the sustained notes that play along with the "oh" singing parts. I know a few of them are OD notes, but they keep whammying the regular ones as well and it sounds pretty horrible.
