I seriously need to know why the PS3 version is so much cheaper ($10) and it has a wireless controller.
Obviously I would go with the ps3 version over the xbox360 version simply for the wireless controller; but am I going to be missing out on something? Am I going to miss out on DLC? is xbox360 getting more DLC than ps3?
Lets chat it up!

Your not going to miss out on nothing , they are both getting the same content.. i have a feeling you want the 360 to get more content..

They're both $169.
If anything the PS3 would have more DLC. Sony owns a record label,MS doesn't...but that hasn't affected things before.

In theory they should be the same. I have this dark feeling in my heart that DLC is going to end up being more expensive on the 360 due to some insane Microsoft policy, but my fingers are crossed.

Actually you didn't read the thread. Battle_axe_of_doom is right. The original poster misread the article and then admitted he misread it. BAOD was correcting him.

Well when a game, in the past, has been released on both systems the prices have always been equivalent to my knowledge and I don't think Sony has ever gotten more DLC on multiplatform release. The Xbox 360 has though (Oblivion). I suspect though that everything will be equivalent on the PS3 and 360 as far as the downloadable content and the price of the content is concerned with Rock Band. No reason for Harmonix to play favorites.
Personally I'd much rather have Achievements than a wireless guitar, but my eyes aren't good enough to be able to use a wireless guitar anyway. Also, I love Achievements.

As far as I know, Harmonix is going to to release DLC on both platforms, simultaniously. If anything I prefer the PS3 version, because of the Wireless guitar right out of the box and the cheap way of upgrading the hard drive when the DLC is going to extreme sizes (yes I'm planning on buying anything that's anywhere near cool).
