Does anyone else think the whammy bar is crap?

The design is cool (it's closer to a real one than anything Red Octane's done so far), but the implementation/engineering is crap. The entire thing's held together by one brittle spring internally.

I've already had one spring snap and had to RMA it. Presently, I'm using one of those very small elastic hair things wrapped around the top of the whammy and back to the strap grommit to help alleviate stress. So far it appears to be working.

I used the hair tie method back when GH3 first came out, I have 2 360 guitars and 2 PS2 Guitars, and all of them have a hair tie on the whammys except my new PS2 Guitar, but I'm sure it'll need one eventually...lol.

Yeah...though I like the Fender's Whammy Bar, it definitely feels a bit too loose. I've never had any real issues with it, but I now use my GH2 guitar (Red SG) due to the graces of God given to me by TheAntCommandos' Converter, so it really doesn't affect me anymore, either way.
