One of the more influential goth rock bands of the 80's. Their songs range from slow and eerie to fast-paced and wacky. What's stupid about RB is that there's a Gothic personality for your character to have, but there's no songs for him/her to play, except for maybe Bowie, which is barely anything like the stuff that cultivated the genre of goth rock. Really stupid, I know.

Some Bauhaus might be fun but what might be even more fun is playing stuff from the original artist of 'Telegram Sam', Marc Bolan and T. Rex.

I would love to see Bauhaus in the game. I don't think they have a chance in hell of making the disc, but DLC maybe.

There are a number of tracks from the Bauhaus that I would jump at the chance to download. I'm not sure how fun "Bela..." would really be but you'd have to have it just because it's such a classic tune.

I definately want telegram sam, it has such a good rock vibe to it. Also, their version is sooo much better.

And they could spice it up by having the bauhaus version of ziggy stardust in there instead of that weird bowie cover from GH1

This would also be good for rock band

They pretty much originated goth, with a nod to the Damned and Siouxsie and the Banshees. Kevin Haskins is an amazing drummer.

Them and every other band I love. The Damned, The Cure, Killing Joke, KMFDM, Pigface, .... The HMX execs have something against industrial/goth/post-punk.

I've noticed the bias, too. And hair metal fans think they're being neglected? Please.
Perhaps HMX is waiting until Halloween to release an industrial/goth/post-punk pack?

I've enjoyed the Bauhaus for years, without ever really being a fan of "Goth" music in general. I would certainly pick up downloadable content from them.

Bumping this sh#t because I completely agree. The fact that there's no goth in this game, or very little of it, is disappointing. Bauhaus I think would be an EXCELLENT place to start. I'm not even a goth fella' per say, more a preppy athlete than anything, but I don't really give a good goddamn...I know good music when I hear it. This stuff would just be plain FUN to play.
Just a few:
Double Dare
In the Flat Field
Passion of Lovers
Bela Lugosi
Sanity Assassin (OK, I'm just looking off of Crackle right now...)
She's in Parties
Silent Hedges
Mask
Kick in the Eye
BAUHAUS VERSION OF ZIGGY STARDUST YES OK?
Dark Entries
Terror Couple Kill Colenel
SPIRITS...god, if only one, this one
Maybe Burning from the Inside (probably kinda boring, but I love it)
Antonin Artaud (good lord, this song would be AWESOME...and awesomely hard on drums, especially the end)
Telegram Sam as been said 50 billion times, which I agree isn't enough
Honeymoon Croon
Hair of the Dog
Swing the Heartache
The Three Shadows Part 2 and 3
Lagartija Nick
Third Uncle

She's in Parties brings back fond memories of college parties... our frat would always play three goth songs back to back as parties started to wind down: She's In Parties, Temple of Love by the Sisters of Mercy, and A Forest by The Cure. I'd love to see all three songs in RB, but I'll happily take any Bauhaus (or the other two bands) HMX is willing to offer.

I dislike frat parties, but that sounds awesome, and so does Bauhaus in Rock Band. Goth is probably the most lacking genre of rock in the game, next to surf and rockabilly, of course.

Frats over here are incomparable to frats in the US. Hazing is not nearly as bad (and some frats have no hazing rituals whatsoever), almost all of them are open to both men and women, and cultural and academic activities are considered just as important as heavy drinking and partying. It's pretty much a group of students with the same major as you that people hang out with.
And yes, RB definitely needs more goth, especially the eighties kind.
