Sweet idea for Rock Band

This is my sweet idea. Imagine if you load rock band, load your band and you have your 3 friends with you. You're having a party or something and you want to do a show. So imagine if you could make your own set list (with songs from the game of course) of maybe 10 songs, and then you would play one song after another and you wouldnt get ratings after each song and stuff. after the entire show you get a rating on how well you performed... something like that.. i just think that would be pretty sweet :P haha

PS: NEED MORE GUNS N ROSES, AC/DC and DEF LEPPARD!!!! and i would love Black Betty by Ram Jam on RB :P

i dont know if 10 songs would be a good idea, but maybe anywhere from 2-5 songs in a row would be quite fun, especially if they could somehow figure a way to keep them going non stop, so that there are no load times and also because quite a few bands do just that.

Well the way we do it is wait for someone to fail the song, which it's usually someones else now that I got my grove back (HAHA!)

Since then there has been like 20 posts about it in the stickied thread for game ideas and another 10 specific threads made for it. It's obviously a feature in high demand and like Eman said they have put something like it in the game.

I remember reading the article too but cant remember where... It wasn't overly specific though, some more info on it would be awesome.

If it does have this in it, I really hope it transitions into other songs because that'd be wicked. Say you just finish a song and it fades out, the characters on the screen walk around for a bit while it pre-loads the next song and then you start up again. Rather than going out of the screen to load the next song. Would make it much more realistic, and a way better feel. (If possible)

There was also a screenshot.

It clearly said "setlist" and under it had a few different titles with "e" next to them.

One was called "The Ultimate Setlist" the other "highway star"

I don't know if playing consecutive songs in a row instead of just going to the set list and choosing the next one really qualifies as "one of the funnest things I have ever played in video games." It sounds like something completely different to me. The option to do concert setlists is cool and convenient, but I don't know that it would be worthy of this amount of excitement. He makes it sound like the gameplay is somewhat new and different in this mode from what I'm reading.

I do think the idea of dimming the lights on stage, showing the stats in a semi-transparent screen, load the next song, and have you guys walk around like their preping for the next song would be required to add realistic-ness to the game's performance aspect.

Yeah, but if you're lazy it's just easier if you have 1 button to set up your char/guitar/song/etc. and then you just pick your difficulty and play, Even if there was a random on GHII i'd never use it for the fear of getting "Yes We Can" "Red Lottery" or even worse "Institutionalized".

-Those are my personal opinions though, I honestly don't like either of those songs at all.-

that would be kinda kool too instead of picking your songs you could set it so it would load random songs... but ya...

but you know how bands talk to the croud in between songs? well imagine if while the other song is loading and your just waiting there looking at your stats.. you could like talk to the croud (if your doing vocals) and like pump them up for the next song and stuff lol
