My suggestion would be a remake of (keeping gameplay the same):
Zelda Ocarina of Time
Halo: Combat Evolved (Wii please - I'd like to see if it'd work)
Anymore? I know my mates REALLY want FF7 remade

Final Fantasy 7 for the PS3.... there have been so many rumors but if they really did do it I'd actually buy a PS3 to play that game and I don't think I'm the only one

Not an RPG fan meself.
Metal Gear Solid 2 I would like. I really didn't enjoy MGS3 but MGS2 was incredible.

Ooooo thank you for creating this thread! I have a list and I want these to be multi-platformers
From the Playstation:
Twisted Metal 1 and 2 (I know PSP had a remake of Twisted Metal 2, but still)
~they could pump up the graphics, add downloadable levels and weapons and possibly new cars. Add more pedestrians (for some reason they are fun to hit). New camera angles (in car!) Sick soundtrack!
Auto Destruct
~I might be the only person in the world who played this sleeper title. It was a great game. It had potential to be much better though. I would love to see this game be remade and up to date, it certainly would have potential to contend with Spyhunter.
From the Playstation 2:
Frequency and Amplitude
~I need say nothing more than just update the graphics...
From the PC:
Carmageddon
~This was one riot of a game. I would like to see it be remade up to date. Better graphics, intensified blood/guts/gore. Downloadable levels, weapons, cars.

I think a Carmageddon 4 is coming out for PC and the consoles :p I loved that game.
I'd like to see a remake of River City Ransom, or for Duke Nukem Forever to finally come out.

You call me a thread whore despite the fact all the threads I've recently made have been interesting and popular, and you yourself contributed to it. Hypocritical, much? If you don't like the thread, don't post in it. But I thank you for your suggestions. Dshiz even said thx for making it.
BTW I prefer THP3

Some others.
Gamecube got to see a remake of the first Resident Evil, so I think they could do the same with Resident Evil 2 and 3.
I wouldnt mind seeing a remake of Vigilante 8 (I've picked a lot of auto-combat games).
Nor would I mind seeing a remake of the original Clock Tower...that sh*t was scary, and could be scarier with up to date graphics, sound, and gameplay.

I didn't like the camo thing. I didn't like the heal-yourself thing. I loved that it was an enclosed environment in MGS2, well connected together, technically small - it was brilliant. MGS3... the way the world was put together, the lack of a great end-of-game style weirdness.

The End boss sniper-battle alone destroys anything mgs2 has to offer

I think I'd rather have Chrono Trigger remade than FFVII.
Other than that, I'd like to see Daggerfall remade - I prefer it's gameplay over Morrowind/Oblivion.
Also Sunt Island would be really cool to have as a remake/sequel.

They already remade THPS 2.
FF7,Chrono Trigger and Suikoden 2. They should at least be downloads in the PSN store.

Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake (probably the best in the series next to Metal Gear Solid)
Act Raiser
Punch Out
Earthbound
Chrono Trigger
Perfect Dark
I would buy remakes of any of those.

Final Fantasy VII (which, for the record, someone in SquareEnix leaked info about something called Endless Crisis: Final Fantasy VII, which is to be released on PS3, it was supposed to be unveiled at TGS along with Star Ocean 4 and the DS remake of FF4 and 3 new Kingdom Hearts games, which haven't heard anything about any of them)
Final Fantasy VIII
Final Fantasy IX
Chrono Trigger
Megaman Legends (or at least make a damn sequel)
Ocarina of Time
Castlevania: Symphony of the Night
Legend of Dragoon (or, once again, make a damn sequel)
The entire Legacy of Kain series (if they fixed all the damn problems with those games, they'd be some of the best ever released)
Suikoden 2
Chakan the Forever Man

I was a fan of The Bouncer back on the PS2. I wouldnt mind that game being remade, it had its fun.
The entire Driver series wouldnt be bad remade and gameplay improved.
Darkwatch on Xbox was a great game, I think it needs a sequel.
Onimusha: Blade Warriors needed a bit of work, great game, but needed just a few touch ups. I wouldnt mind that becoming a revamp.
Marvel Ultimate Alliance needs a sequel.
Warhammer 40,000: Firewarrior....This game had potential. However, MAJOR REWORK NEEDED!

I think when you put 3D GTA vs the older Drivers (let alone the newer ones) you realise that Driver should stay in the past. I was AMAZED that I could leave the vehicle in Driver 2 - then came GTA 3.
The Bouncer - it got terrible reviews but I remember it being good.
Darkwatch, meh wasn't fussed about it.
Onimusha... great games.
I really didn't like MUA. Dunno why, I just didn't, despite reviewers/mates raving about it.

For PS3:
FF7 (With maybe an optional real time combat system)
Frequency/Amplitude
For 360/Ps3:
TES I: Arena
TES II: Daggerfall
TES III: Morrowind
(All 3 updated to Oblivion levels of awesomeness)

For 360 and PS3, maybe Shadow of the Colossus. I know its not that old, but with PS3 graphics and upgraded gameplay, it could be come the greatest game ever.
Course, it already is.....

Problem with Shadow of Colossus on 360 is the same as Frequency and Amplitude for 360...Sony published them.

I love you...
A game that I really want to see remade:
Are you sure you're ready for this? Are you sure you can handle what I'd love to have remade? Okay, well I warned you...
Gauntlet: Dark Legacy
C'mon! Seven Sorrows sucked and I was even excited about that and the original was just a pain in the ass. Dark Legacy though (although now it refuses to work on my original xbox) gave me a warm and fuzzy feeling inside. I'd want the game-play to stay the same, but it should get a graphic over-haul with some pretty blood and get ported to the Xbox 360 with online play. Make those adjustments and keep everythign else how it was and I'd love Microsoft forever. Dark Legacy as an XBLA game wouldn't be half bad either, but I hate spending money on MS Points and they wouldn't make any changes & likely make you download fragments of the game since yeah, there was a lot of play-time there. Now that I mentioned it, if it had been remade it should have DLC out the ass...

I would really go for some Hexen. My sister and I played/rented that game all the time for the n64. I never played any of the other games in that series though (Hexic, Hexen 2, Hexic 2????).
Or, it would be great to get some classic SNES games remade (as far as making HD graphics go)... Aladdin, Contra 3, Zelda: LttP, Super Mario All Stars (only because it is several games in one)... etc... etc...

I remember it - I LOVED that game, I got it in some sort of EA Ultra Pack for the PS1 when I was 7 or something, but I didn't get Myth or Broken Sword at the time. Now I love em.

Doom 2: I wanna see Hell on Earth on the Doom3 engine
I would love to see Doom in general fuse with the Unreal Engine...that would be sick. Back to reality, yeah it would be neat if they remade Doom 1 and Doom 2 on a modern engine. If they could make it look like Killzone 2, it would resemble the Doom movie in a way with realism.

The Legend of Dragoon. When it came out ti looked good and the areas you went through were awesome looking, well detailed.. Today it would just be mind blowing.
The last boss battle would be kick ass... again.

The first Armored Core would be an excellent remake.
Also, that Star Wars: Masters of Teras Kasi had potential, it just...sucked...so I would actually play that game if it were remade.
