Why am I the last one to know about these things??!!
But haven't we already covered this ground in Cartoon Network's Clone Wars animated series? I mean as far as I see it's another part of the story but none the less the same story. Still, being a Star Wars veteran fan I will go see this one as well to be sure.:D

Hey LZ do you think at any point they might just run out of Star Wars stories to tell? I mean they've done everything already right?

Yeah!! but not quite, for me at least I would like to see the part between Episode 3 and 4, how the rebellion formed, what did Yoda and Obi-Wan did all those years in seclusion, Han Solo's or Lando's story...you know, all that stuff.
I know there must be plenty of books on the subject, but something on film would be nice, but done right this time!!

I've watched all the films most of the TV stuff and played most of the games made after lik 1995. And theres still quite a lot I don't understand.

Apparently, the Cartoon Network episodes are null and void in the continuity.

Liea is Darth Vader's(Anakin) son, Lukes sister.
So she has the force in her.

Ah thats bollocks. I think they should sort of stop soon before it gets too out of hand with the whole stories thing.

Leia is a Skywalker also, therefore has the same powers as her father (Anakin), she just never knew it or was trained to use the force, but if she had children chances are her kids could be Jedi's too.

Well now days if it doesn't have Ewan McGregor in it then I just don't watch. He was a great Obi Wan Kenobi.

There is going to be a live action TV series to tell this story although supposedly, no characters from the arc of the episode 4,5,6 story are going to be in the TV series.
This "Clone War" movie is supposed to lead to a Cartoon Network syndicated Cartoon series next year with the live action TV series being syndicated to network television in 2010.

Hey Names Chris HUGE Star Wars fan here There is also a live action tv show comin either next year or 2010 about the time between episodes 3-4 no real details on what it involves but most likely will follow Boba Fett
think of that part of Empire Stikes Back when Darth Vader looked at Boba Fett and said Quote- NO DESINTAGRATIONS THIS TIME!

If they were making an animated movie, it would have made more sense to continue Luke and Han's story.
The prequels told me something really interesting: Most people really don't care about the Jedis - Han Solo was by and far the uniting force of ep 4-6. The wisecracks, love triangle and buddy dynamic, coupled with epic villians were what made those movies so great.
Mark Hamill is one of the greatest animated voice over performers in the history of animation; they REALLY couldn't have gotten him to reprise his role as Luke skywalker? Unbelievable. Carrie Fisher's got nothing going on and Harrison ford would be happy to lend his talents to the movie that made him as an actor, so why not?

Han and Leia have three kids, I think.
And not only does Luke train them (on Yavin IV, I believe), he eventually turns to the Dark Side when the Emporer comes back to life. He also meets a lovely Dark Jedi named Mara Jade, and they get married and have kids too.
On a side note, it turns out I'm a blood-relative of Kyle Katarn. Nevermind how I learned that. Just trust me.
