Any Word On PS2 GH/GH2/Gh80's Compatibility With PS3 Fender?

As above. I haven't been following the Rock Band forums lately, so I don't know whether anyone confirmed this yet or not. I'm still holding out for some good news that'll finally tell me I can put away my near dead PS2 and just "move" my old Guitar Hero games onto the PS3 once and for all. As far as I know, Neversoft/Activision have already said that backwards compatibility with the GHIII wireless guitar is only "partial," whatever that means, so maybe Harmonix can save me in this situation?

It just seems kind of sad to keep the ol' PS2 around simply to play Guitar Hero...

Nobody knows for sure me myself being a Ps3 owner i hope it is compatible with Gh1,2 and 80s :D lets just wait for Harmonix to clarify this , but they us Ps3 owners...

this is ust what i think, but seeing as how harmonix made GH 1 2 and 80's and are now making roc band, they probably used the same programing codes on rock band as they did on their GH games, so i would bet more on the RB controller working than the GH3 controller, im optimistic that the Rock Band controller will work, but thats just what i think
