Question for you musos

I've been meaning to ask this for ages but keep forgetting.

For quite a while I've been wondering why is it that if you're right handed you strum with that hand instead of working the magic on the fretboard?

Becase in my efforts to get through Expert in GH I realized that my right hand has so much more dexterity and speed in it's fingers compared to my tarded left hand, I couldn't work out why I wasn't using that hand instead (yes, I instinctively went to strum with my dominant hand, despite my question)

I'm sure there's a simple answer for this, so please give me a tall glass of noob-aid.

well idk i'm a noob myself but i gotta say this when i put the lefty flip on my left hand strumming blew more than my right hand fretting. i had no coordination whatsoever, so idk if that somewhat answers your question or not

Coordination for strumming the notes? (both real and GH guitar) I also put the game on lefty flip and that didn't work out so well, I can pass the songs in medium just not any harder than that. I've been playing guitar for about 2 years now so I guess I'm just used to it :confused:
