hay everyone.
i'm from germany and i want to import rock band and i have a little question.
can i play the guitar with my lefthand or will i have any troubles?

In the American version of the game, there's an option to switch guitars (and even drums) to lefty mode. I see no reason why the version in Germany would be any different. Hope this helps!

The only real difference will be the positioning of the whammy bar. On top of the strum bar as opposed to below it. I started with GH2 and was about 3 songs from finishing before I got stuck and decided to give lefty a try. It was quickly apparent that my right hand was definitely better suited for the fret work and I have been playing lefty ever since. At first I didn't like the whammy up top but now i'm completely used to it.

I am left-handed, and I play left-handed.

My only issue is with the whammy bar. It's not situated for leftys.
I actually use the inside of my wrist to use the whammy.

I'm a weird anomaly: I am mostly right-handed (more or less ambidextrous, but I do use my right for most 'precision' tasks like writing), but I play RB guitar left-handed, yet without turning lefty flip on in-game...and even my weird way of playing works fine with the strat (except for the whammy bar issue mentioned above). Being able to reposition the strap peg is a nice addition. So if I can play well, there's no reason why a 'true' lefty couldn't :D

I am lefty and i play the guitar/bass on lefty mode, the drumms on normal or "righty" mode and vox.... well there is no lefty mode for vocals duhhh...

I'm kind of the same way. I write with my right hand, play guitar with my left, and drum right handed. Weirdo, huh.
As for the OP's question; I would have to say the RB guitar is the most comfortable/ergonomical guitar of any guitar game to date to use left handed. The whammy bar is nice and long so you can still hit it reasonable well under the strum bar. which really wasn't possible with the any of the GH guitars. An added feature that I like that I can use because I play left handed is the overdrive button is right under the pad of my left thumb which makes hitting overdrive alot easier. As for what you see on the screen, it gets swapped so that the green button shows up on the right side of the chart and the orange is over on the left side. It would be the other way around for right handed people.
