Since Rock Band won't be released in the Netherlands because, apparently, we don't matter, I'm thinking about getting the game in Germany. Does anyone know if the German version will still have the English language option? I've looked around a bit, but couldn't find anything on the languages in the game.

I wouldn't see why not.

But who knows.

I'm from germany and every 360 game i ever bought (except Elder Scrolls 4 Oblivion) has the english version on the disc. So I'm 99.9% sure it will be in english. I play all my games in english too, since i prefer the untranslated versions.

I do recall that GH 2 had German in-game text, though, so you might want to do some more research about it first.

What system are you on, anyway? I'm a Dutch player myself (even though I live in Belgium these days), and I imported my PS3 version relatively cheaply through Foregames in Tilburg.

If you have a 360, you could always buy the instrument set in Germany and order the game itself through play.com, that way you'd be guaranteed english screen text.

I'm on a 360. If the German version doesn't have English text I'll order it from play.com. I was looking at it earlier today, too bad they won't ship the instruments to addresses outside the UK, would have saved me a bundle.

I think you can change the language of the game by changing the language on the xbox(if you have german as language in the xbox-menus you'll get it in game if it has german support in the game)
