Here's my story:

Halo 3 came out, was pre-sold EVERYWHERE, and if you expected to get it at a midnight launch, you had to wait in line for the pre-ticket, then wait in line WITH your pre-ticket, then wait in a bogus line to leave the store where they made sure you didn't steal anything.

I went to the midnight launch just for the hell of it, didn't get a tick or anything, was just there for the show.
EVERY BOX SOLD

EXCEPT: toysrus didn't have a midnight launch. I strolled in there the next day and witnessed the last twenty boxes in the city sitting calmly on shelves and in piles, untouched.

It took me three minutes to get the kick-ass edition while thousands of people waited in line four HOURS and HOURS and HOURS.
I was playing the game only five hours later than the last people in line with pre-sold ticks.

CHECK OUT TOYSRUS FOR THE RELEASE OF ROCK BAND!!! If they don't midnight sell, chances are good you can get one EARLY in the a.m.
(this also happened with the wii)

Not ALL of canada does the milk bag stuff.. Trust me, I'm from B.C. and we use jugs. The first time I went to ontario and saw milk bags I pulled a WTF too.

Albertans do the jug thing too....i wont lie i have never seen millk bags. souhnds awkward.anyway thanks for the tips,but i walked into eb games at 4 in the afternoon and got my limited that i preordered,no biggie. im not that big of a halo nut to go to get a agame at midnight. me and my friend have a joke.i love halo.....but unlike some pwners i do prefer sex over it

sorry I got two teachers in my skl who are Canadian (in England), and one of them wears the Basketball coat with "Manitoba" written on the back and people do an impression of the way he says it.

A bit of pop school culture for ya. Its funny, but you gotta be there.
