Ok so I bought some QM drums about 5 months ago and they worked for like 2 months until my pedal snapped so then I made a real pedal instead of just sending it back to Harmonix so I could get the same piece of trash again. Then my pads start wearing out so I try penny mods, sock mods, tape mods, coin purse mods and I even rebuilt the censor in a final attempt to fix these garbage pads so I say fine you know what I wont just send them in I went to the store payed ANOTHER 80 bucks and bring them home so then I diside while I want these pads to last. So I buy drum mutes but before I put them on I decide to make sure the drum set is working fine and play without the mod, and guess what THEY DONT ****ING WORK. The yellow and blue pads miss like 1 in 5 notes the red misses like 1 in 20 and the green misses 1 in 100ish. So already I have drums that arent sensitve enough so I have to send them in and get another piece of **** or take them apart and try to fix them while addin protectors so they dont break so my question is why the hell cant Harmonix make a drum set with all the mods people have created to stop these ****ty drum sets from breaking and sell them because I am so sick of going to the store to buy **** to fix this problem just for something else to break the next time I play.

I was so hoping this was a thread about someone making drums out of garbage cans. That would be freaking sweet.

On another note, we are in the process of making new heads. Check out this thread. http://www.rockband.com/forums/showthread.php?t=50008
