RB Fan Site Images?

I got a PM from a board member looking to build their own fansite. They wanted a higher resolution image of the Rock Band logo and the Harmonix logo, but could not locate them. I directed him to the plain rockband.com site, but it appears to be down.


I figure if such a think does exist, someone here would be able to link to it here. A few months ago, I recall Sean posting something about a "fan kit", but I haven't been able to locate that post.

I just spent the past hour or so playing around in Photoshop and Illustrator, TRYING to do just this... erm... let's just say that beer+photoshop+trying to learn illustrator=not good results.


When I'm less drunk, and more patient and bored, maybe I'll give it another go. No matter what I tried, I couldn't get it nearly as clean as the smallish one I have. :/

I got .dwg of the outlines of all the logos...i can try to get them into illustrator...i just gotta find where it's at on my computer...

Eh, you should just be able to grab the image, live trace it, and scale (all within Illustrator). I can do it later if it still hasn't been posted.

That's what I thought, too. But live trace didn't come out right, unfortunately, I couldn't get it to look clean enough. But, then again it was my first time trying live trace. *shrugs*

and I was working with a 300x170px-ish source, so that didn't help.

lol, I just tried to do the same thing... except I was trying to update myspace with a little bit-o Rock Band flare. So far the results are terrible. I'll try tomorrow when I sober up :D
