The new Guitar Hero 4 guitar is touch solo.

Photos are showing a Guitar Hero 4 guitar. It resembling the striker from the Ps2 version of GH3.

The new guitar has a tighter set up upper buttons.
The whammy bar is greatly extended.
The strum bar is going to be much longer.
The size of the guitar is going the biggest guitar yet.

It has two new features:

1. At the palm placement of the guitar, there is a button for activation of Star Power. Silver in appearance.

2. On the neck of the guitar, there is a second set of solo fret chords. But, not traditional buttons. They are touch sensitive. The neck there is smooth and great for slides.

Check the patton pendings if you don't believe me. Activision if keeping it under wraps until their patton goes completely through. Classmate from the Chicago Sun sent me an email forwarded from Jamie Nicholes at Activision.

See my other thread in the general forums to see the list of bands in GH4. There will be two songs a piece for most of the bands on the disc and 85 artists have signed on for the game.

(I don't know everything about Activision or E3 ok. Why would I lie? I just have some photos floating around the office that would get me fired if I posted before I was allowed.)

GH4 sounds more and more like a rip off of rock band if you ask me, activision is trying to provoke HMX into suing them aren't they? i would've done it the second they said they were going to do a band type thing, if they do a band world tour, i am going to be pissed off because thats just pure stupidity

Havent harmonix already got there equipment etc copyrighted. So can't they sue. Anyway what annoys me is more and more kids are going to get GH4 and say wow what a great idea well done Activision and they won't have a clue who actually made the idea and made it great.
