I'm surprised with the recent season premieres of prisonbreak,heroes,house etc. there hasn't been a thread.

I think TV is great right now I watch:

Heroes
24

and most importantly

LOST (which will certainly get its own thread sometime next year when it picks up again.

I love LOST, its annoying to me that it didn't start this fall, but at least we don't have to deal with that mini series like last season, it was even more painful to wait after seeing a few episodes.


Right now all I really watch is Heroes. But I am looking forward to 30 Rock this week, its so funny. I never got into Prison Break although I only hear good things about it, if I ever do watch it, it will be from the beginning. The only other show worth watching right now is Dexter, its amazing.

On a side note, Prison Break is FREAKIN' AWESOME this year! Monday's episode was crazy!!! Man, I really think that we are in another "golden era" for TV. So many awesome shows, so little time. My DVR has really gotten a workout over the past couple years.

Red vs Blue (if it counts)

I also really like My Name is Earl, Cobert Report, Chapelles Show and Seinfeild, but they arent quite "up there"

currently i dont' watch much tv except for mythbusters and the random "shows" on ESPN. oh and some HBO shows though they have been rather lackluster as of late

Ohh ok i thought when you said shows on espn you mean the mini series. I dont really consider pti and around the horn "shows" really. I think of them as sports analysis.

ya ik thats why in my original post about the show i put the word shows in quotes like you just did, but if i didn't list those "shows" i'd have nothing to say except for sitcoms that have long been cancelled.

and Sushi---do ya agree best line so far this season for Curb your Enthusiasm goes to Jeff "we gotta go our daughter's late for a puppet show" :D

Great to see so many Arrested Development fans and so few Family Guy and lame sitcom fans (nothing against Family Guy fans because I watch it every week, theres just nothing "good" about it. It does give me the occasional chuckle however) This is truely an intellectual fanbase:)

I'm really picky about tv. I can't stand dumb **** like American Idol or Yes Dear, hate super intense action crap like 24 or CSI: Miami etc etc and don't even get me started on "reality" But I do enjoy good drama and quirky comedy and I think TV has been at an all time high in the last few years
