I'm sure this has been a thread more than once but now that we know so many more tracks let us sound off. Faith no More has my vote. The whole effin game could be that song over and over again and I'd be lost in ecstasy. That and Nirvana. Radio Friendly Unit Shifter would make my day though, we need In Utero to go with Nevermind. =)

Wave of Mutilation probably, but then there's Maps (which I only got into because of the game), Gimme Shelter, Won't Get Fooled Again, Don't Fear the Reaper and Creep. After not recognising a load of the songs in the GH games I was damn pleasantly surprised that I knew and liked pretty much every song in Rock Band.

Now if they add an Eels song to the list my head will explode with excitement, chances are probably slim though, have my fingers crossed for some Eels DLC. Of course that's like complaining that you had to pay a $20 adminstration fee after winning the lottery. I'm really happy with the song list.

Gabage's "I'm Not Paranoid" is a great song, don't see how anyone would confuse the title for Sabbath's Paranoid...but

My favorite announced so far is Nine Inch Nail's "The Hand That Feeds", but of course they are my favorite musical act and any song by them would be my favorite :P

Currently, I think my favorite song is Highway Star, Enter Sandman, or Won't Get Fooled Again. I'm a little more hopeful for potential DLC albums. There's a ton of songs from Stadium Arcadium that I'd love to play, so I hope they make that album DLC, along with some others.
