#1: Any song with Mike Portnoy on drums. I am sure that many will agree with me that Mike Portnoy is one of the greatest, if not the greatest drummer alive. I saw him in concert recently, and he is an absolute blast to watch. He makes playing drums look incredibly fun, and I'm sure Harmonix could translate one of his songs into something great as well. Not to mention that John Petrucci would be playing guitar on the song. #2: Tool - Vicarious. It has great guitar and bass work, and an awesome drum solo. Plus, any song with Maynard on vocals is automatically fun to sing. #3: Megadeth - Holy Wars... The Punishment Due/Polaris. Megadeth has been a guitar hero staple. Holy Wars has both tricky guitar and vocal work, and Polaris is a great song as well. Either would fit in nicely. #4: Pink Floyd. Any song. Probably hard as diamond to get the rights to, but Pink Floyd is one of the most popular bands in history. Everyone has sung along to a Pink Floyd song sometime in their life. #5 Stairway to Heaven. Everyone had to see this one coming. After Free Bird at the end of Guitar Hero II, the only song that can top it that comes to my mind is Stairway.

About number 3, I'd be happy if they just stuck the whole Rust In Peace album on there. Holy Wars..The Punishment Due, Rust in Peace...Polaris, Tornado of Souls, Five Magics, they'd all be AWESOME to play.
Definetly agree, minus Five Magics. I've always hated the lyrics to that. Everything else though, i have absolute love for. Rust in Peace has always been in my car's CD changer since I first drove in it.

I don't know how you all feel, but I think we should get some foreign music in here.

Even with vocal parts now included, Asia and Europe offer some of the best rock around.

Anyway. 3 words. Cult of Personality.

Some of Tool would be so hard to pull off with drums, but it is a must for more advanced players!

Nice list.

I'd really like to play Sweating Bullets.

-J

Idk if its just me, but i think that Aerosmith- "Walk This Way" should at least be on GH3 if not Rockband.
That song is perfect for it. may not be the hardest song on the set,
but it definatley deserves a spot.

Completely agree about a Pink Floyd song. If they don't put stairway to heaven, Led Zeppelin is a must, like whole lotta love or other things like that. They should put some Queen, would be for good signers lol! Oh, and, lets keep dreaming, they should add a beatles song, everybody likes the beatles. They should put something like Helter Skelter or yer blues...

Scar Tissue by RCHP as an easier song, people need to realize that NOT EVERY SONG HAS TO BE METAL, I like metal but sometimes I would like to just sit back, relax and play something a little softer.
