I've done it before.. But no proof of that so.. It has been bothering me lately. I havent even been able to beat it anymore ever since i got the game. I havent had it for 3 months and got to play over at a friends occasionally.

Who else has beat this? Not a very good score btw.

I've nailed it about 7 or 8 times since my first time beating it (in January). I finally 5-starred it earlier this summer, the score being like 288k... I really struggled, a very tough song.

Well, this was without going for score. I usually activate star power right after the first two SP's, and end up in between 100-120k before the break. This time I was at 75 before the break. So it's possible that I would have 5 starred it given I tried for score. But I just wanted to beat this again..

:( I'm in the same boat you were in salt. I've only said I've beat jordan on these boards once I think. I rarely say it because all I have is the achievement and that looks like someone else did it for me. Anyways, I was playing and I couldn't beat it, All I kept thinking was "Man, I just want to at least 3 star the thing so I can consider the game beaten." Well, I gave up and went to quick play. First few times failed and was about to get up then I finally nailed that damn blue note. After beating the song I was too damn excited and I throw my guitar off and was like "**** YOU BUCKETHEAD, **** YOU" Thus making the next pack show up with no way to go back.

It did suck that I couldn't get the newspaper screeny, but as long as I know I beat it I could give a **** less what anyone else thinks ^_^

EDIT: Also forgot to mention I haven't been able to beat that song again, I still try an awful lot. Guess I just got lucky that night.

Well I can beat it at my friends, but my guitar's buttons are **** so.. It was difficult.

me neither. i got my gh2 groove back, bought skate. and now i've lost it. with orange box coming out this tuesday i dont' think i'll ever play gh2 especially with gh3 coming out like a week or two after orange box

Not to get off topic about Jordan, but are the graphics for The Orange Box all getting a 360 touch to them? Or are they straight off the actual games?

i have no idea d00d. i know it sounds stupid but i actually know nothing about the orange box except what games are in it, and that its getting critical acclaim (well the PC version at least) but i'm still gonna buy it :\

Yeah I 5*ed that sh*t with 100% no problem on Expert.

nah that song is tough. I've only beaten it once on Hard...for some reason lately I havent been playing any song well at all.

Got surprisingly close at 248k, but that's the highest I've gotten.

First time I 5* that song I got like 256K but my high since is 292K.... I haven't played it in forever though, maybe I'll give it a shot next time I'm at my buddies house (I don't have the game anymore)

Man, I don't have the patience for that, I got 4* on it the first time I beat it, and just find the song to annoying to play, not because I fail it 4 out of every 5 times, but becuase Im just tired of the song.

Good on you though, keep going!

Damn dude, congrats!! I still get capped out at 59%... but then again, I rarely play anymore. stupid work/wife/sleep interfering with my conquest of GH2. :/

You know what sucks? Putting in every single score you have in GH in scorehero, that site has so much traffic it takes forever.

You can go on Scorehero.com to get the official cutoff. It never is an exact round number.

Nevermind I looked it up the exact 5* cutoff score is: 254,904.

AWW that pisses me off, I broke my SP combo right near the end; that would've easily given me the extra 4 grand that I needed :(

Find a good strumming pace, learn where to use star power, maybe use a specified path at http://gh2starpower.angelfire.com/
Go into practice mode and try to make super smooth transitions. The reason most people dont get a 5* is because they losestreak when ging from one fret to another while strumming fast.
