That was pretty crazy, I almost did something like that on that level once, although it simply involved my grenade following the guy up the air lift.

yea i do that sometimes and sometimes im lucky ... its best to flick up sticky then frags cause well ya know they stick ... id say i got about 70% of the nades i toss up the lifts on the players

Exactly.

No matter if you like Halo or not, you have to appreciate the saved film feature. As many other things bug me about the Halo 3 multiplayer, the ability to go back and take a movie or screen-shot of any moment in any game is priceless. Hopefully other games start implementing something similar.

Oh, and with a better rewind feature, please?

I don't get many.. I've got some hilarious kills though. A mongoose coming full boar at me once on sandtrap, i smoked him straight up with gravity hammer and it literally took off and flew across the entire map... that was pretty funny...

Yesterday too I was playing multi flag ctf on sandtrap and their elephant was driving through the center.. I happened to get to the top of one of those structures near the middle at the same time and leapt off with the hammer, landed on the elephant and destroyed their team... I really should start saving these replays lol

The best stick I got was on Narrows, one side to the other, I just jumped and released and SOMEHOW got someone. VERY enjoyable watching the replay...

I've played Halo 2 a few times with some friends and I got really good with the stickies, thats what I would usually just use with a sniper rifle, because I sucked at Halo really bad and my friend is really good compared to the majority of people I know. He still won the match but I got close with them stickies...

I've read somewhere that to have a rewind feature is very difficult and would require something like reverse calculus? I never even taken calculus and it sounds complicated. But the fast foward things feels just like cassette players, most of them only have fast foward and no rewind. Maybe soon, they will have an update to rewind.

On topic, that is a lucky ass stick. I would of been pissed if it was me that died, panning around the arena looking for where the bastard was at.

I have to agree with you 100%. Sure, Halo's fun to an extent, but I'm tired of hearing "DIS GAME IS SO INNOVATIVE AND NEW!"

Okay, to start, Halo was never really "innovative", it's just like any other FPS out there with future weapons. And I mean, Halo 3? Seriously, how did they make it past 2, and fastest selling game in history? I find it funny to see how people still haven't realized they've been buying the same game over and over. Maybe just some updated graphics and a new weapon/map here and there, nothing a map pack couldn't do.

well pretty sure everyone on here knows i agree with any anti-halo commentary. and to add to your commentary AK-47, two of my friends who are halo junkies admitted that halo 3 is basically halo 2 with better graphics and the film feature and a few new weapons.

That's basically what I did but if it was the right game, I ALWAYS beat everybody at it. Running around with a sniper rifle and plasma grenades. Used to do MLG (for fun, Battle Rifle and Pistol) and wasn't too bad at that. I don't even have Halo 3 but the luckiest stick I ever got was when I fell off the map on Lockout and launched one, it went all the way up top, landed on the bridge, and stuck somebody... Shortly after I got banned from Halo 2 on XBOX Live. Damn modded skins...

I never got the hit of console FPS games, I play Counterstrike on my PC... its a lot more skill involved ,In my opinion. Although with it being on the PC, its also a lot easier to create hacks for the game.

I guess I'm a PC FPS snob :(

I personally just think Halo is overrated...way overrated. I think there are a ton of way better FPS with better story lines and better multiplayer...but thats just my silly little opinion. I respect the people who are good at it, but its not something I want to be apart of. And that video above is crazy!

I disagree that Halo 3 is "essentially" Halo 2. They have made a fair number of improvements, more than you would expect from a patch.

I will agree that it's not as earth-shattering as they said it would be, and they came short on a lot of the things they said would be great. Still fun, but a little disappointing.

Oh well, makes me look forward to Orange Box even more.

Yeah, no kidding, rewind in Halo 3 makes me want to kill myself. It's horrible! But the feature is pretty amazing anyways, so I guess I'll just be happy that they've got it anyways.
