I abselutely love this song, but it would be a bit too simple to play on Rock Band. Having said that, I would definately buy this in a heartbeat.

Runnin' Down A Dream would be a much better choice for Rock Band. The sooner that comes out the better, because that song is perfect for this.

But the guitar is just three chords, and the bass is very simplistic.

I'm not against the idea of this coming to Rock Band, far from it. There are much better Tom Petty songs for this game though (even though this is my favourite song of all time).

I'd buy it cause I love Tom Petty (seeing him at the Hollywood Bowl at the end of June, woooo!) but there are much much better songs for Rock Band in his catalogue.

The sad part is the majority of Petty fans are only fans because they saw them on the super bowl. I'm pretty sure Tom was lip singing in the super bowl anyhow. I don't have respect for people that need to be "taught" which bands are good and which are not.

Yeah, but I know a couple people from my school (and i know their are others) that think tom petty is the shiz because of "free fallin" on the superbowl. They couldn't name any other members except petty..?

Honestly I can't name any members off the top of my head except Tom Petty either, except for Benmont Tench, the keyboardist, which I always remember cause it's so unique. I used to know all of their names but can't summon them on the fly.

"American Girl" is one of my favorites. I think it would work really well in the game. "You Wreck Me" would work too.
