I just got a 1600 points card and I'm really wanting to play some new songs. I don't wanna play customs on Guitar Zero anymore... well, because they aren't as good as the professional made ones (Some are exactly though). Anyways, I was wondering are any of the current song packs worth it? Does anyone have a song pack and felt like their money was well spent? Please letme know before I make a bad decision and spend my points =\. I was thinking maybe wait until I see what the RB song prices are, but I have no idea.

GH1 packs- yea
MCR pack- absolutely not
Indie pack i haven't played, but judging by the video i'd say yes.

Gah, I wish I could pick the songs. I want Killer Queen and Bark At The Moon, but they're in two different packs =\

Not commenting on the quality of song, but the chart on those really are poor. A REALLY enjoyable chart is Frankenstein, even better than YYZ, and thats saying something.

The MCR pack is fun but repetitive. They all feel the same cos they repeat the chords a lot.

And that last pack is the only one I don't have, but I refuse to get it on the grounds that its been rushed so it comes out b4 GH3.

Thanks, 2 GH1 Packs and the MCR one. Got the MCR because my friend likes to play and he only likes songs that are listenable. Trivium and all that is great I ****ing love the bands, But he really doesn't get down with the soft singing and screaming your lungs out like I do. Figured I wouldn't be greedy with the DLC :p

EDIT: I got packs 1 & 2 in case anyone was wondering, good songs in both packs.

The indie pack is 100% worth it. Hangar 18 and Thunderhorse style note charts full of awesome.

The BATM and Frankenstein packs are the two best out of GH1 packs

The other two are decidedly mediocre.

MCR is slightly on the boring/repetitive side... very average but ok.

Well the only one I bought, since I'm tight for money, is the Indie Pack, since I HAD to play Detonation.

And I wasn't Disappointed.

Detonation is a lot harder than I thought because of the lack of hammer-ons.

Bury The Hatchet is amazingly fun and arm-tiring since the entire song is practically 1 strum.

Ex's And Oh's is fun, but doesn't sound that great because of how they hyped the guitar volume. And it doesn't sound like the regular guitar from the song.

I haven't gotten any other packs.

I ended up getting all the packs, after downloading those first 3 I just had to check out the indie pack and the other 2 guitar hero packs. Wasn't disappointed at all but It kind of bums me the price was so high.
