Bearing in mind that not everyone loves hard rock/metal/punk as much as I do, I tried to think of some stuff that would appeal to everyone. Here's what I came up with...

"Welcome To The Jungle" by Guns and Roses
Pretty self-explanatory. Fun to sing, fun to play, fun to listen to.

"Smile In Your Sleep" by Silverstein
Someone else mentioned this and I think it's a great idea. It would be a pain for the singer though.

"Are You Gonna Go My Way?" by Lenny Kravitz
This is a song I felt should have been in one of the Guitar Hero games, but would also work for Rock Band.

"Bat Country" by Avenged Sevenfold
Not my ideal choice for an A7X song, but we gotta remember that not everyone will want to listen to "Eternal Rest" or "Trashed and Scattered." And the guitar solo is pretty sick.

"Never Again" by Nickelback
Before you condemn it for being Nickelback, think about it.

"Lithium" by Nirvana
I think this would be a better choice than "Smells Like Teen Spirit." It's mellower, easier to sing, and more pleasant to listen to IMO.

"The Future Freaks Me Out" by Motion City Soundtrack
After singing along to this song many times in my car, I can vouch for its awesomeness.

This is by no means a complete list, and I welcome any CONSTRUCTIVE criticism or comments. Emphasis on constructive.

Completely agree with the teen spirit boycott, lithium is the superior song imo.
Nickelback is an interesting choice, and i'm sure would result in people complaining if it was put on, but it's actually quite a good song.
Welcome to the Jungle would be an awesome addition as well.
