InsaneFool there are to many people on this forum stuck in the 70's and 80's who are to wrapped up in their old musical taste to give other people a chance to suggest newer music. Personally I have nothing for most of the older music because it just doesn't appeal to me, but you don't see me bashing it either. Obnysalt, GrayInvisible, and battle_axe_of_doom, you can say what you want about InsaneFool being an idiot but I think its pretty pathetic that you get on every thread about new music and post your ignorant, selfish opinions and then act as if its blasphemy when someone says they don't like your genres. I'm pretty sure they are making the game for a more people than just the 3 of you. Way to show the people of the Rock Band community just how old you are.

Newer music just mostly happens to suck. I know there's good stuff sometimes, but a lot of it's pretty bad. I've heard tons of modern music, a lot of it Alternative, and just hate it. How are our opinions ignorant? You don't really know the extent of our knowledge of new music now do you?

We "Act as if its blasphemy" if someone suggests horrible music. Whether it be from the 60s-80s, or the 2000s. We insult people for liking the bottom of the barrel of modern music. Nu Metal is just that.

You say they aren't making the game for the 3 of us, but you don't realize that many, many people like classic rock.

All 3 of us like different music, but we unite against the common enemy of terrible music. Maybe you like this horrible music. Good for you. Nu metal, and modern mainstream rock happen to not fit in the game for many reasons.

Thats why the My Chemical Romance songpack for GH2 isnt so great. Kids cant order it because the blood oozing from their wrists makes the controller too slippery. Just doesnt make good business sense imo.

There is DLC. I'm sure that more than one of your choices doesn't have a chance either. first off, you guys are being douchebags, you guys don't think the music belongs in RB, then say that and be done with it, you don't have to bash someone's music choices, its ignorant and pointless.

secondly, most nu metal wouldn't work in RB imo. I like a lot of the bands in the list but they, along with most fast paced metal, would be hard to work into RB because the RB drums are not double bass drums, so it would be hard and possibly really funky for the drum portion of RB to work with any fast drums songs.

As much as I love slipknot, I can't see drums working for the "fastest drummer" in metal.
