So now Guitar Hero World Tour (aka: GH4) is coming in Fall with multiple wireless peripherals, a music composing program and a bigger list of master tracks on disk along with no brainer online options... But will its price TAG be a no brainer too? And will it actually be better than Rock Band? Time will tell. Looks unlikely though for most on the cost.

So what do you guys think, because unless they got Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd or The Beatles' catalogs in this game, no cooler Drum Set or what not will make me dip into another space hogging hundred dollar plus game.

Check it out HERE (http://www.gamespot.com/news/6191429.html?tag=latestnews;title;0) at Gamespot.

It seems more and more with these pressers that they're just throwing everything possible out there and see what sticks. At this point, the biggest issue is cohesion... will these pieces form a solid product? I'm not sold on that.

Also, with instrument compatibility issues, a PS3 owner would have to buy a complete new set of instruments if they wanted to do anything other than sing. Um, no thanks.

One thing I thought about was the whole "Can't use this with that", as far as the PS3 is concerned. Now if I could use what I have from RB or just need to get their drum set without having to buy a whole new bag, I'd be more inclined to get their game... But the powers that be will have none of that.

Hey mods, how about a sticky at the top of the forum page for people to talk about GH4 so I don't have to scroll through the 50 threads a day that get made about it? Especially in the general forum

I'm sorta aggravated that they took all that is great in rock band and just threw it into a GUITAR game (which still bears the name Guitar Hero in the end.) On top of that it looks like people who bought rock band are gonna get screwed in some way in terms of compatibility. Now if Rock band just releases an update for online BWT, maybe band battle (maybe, not really needed) and maybe some other cool stuff, the GHWT is dead.
