Are EL models still being shipped out for rma's?

Cause i heard from someone that sl's are the only model now, does anyone know? Has anyone gotten a el very recently through rma?

i just got the sl's the other day, loud as hell, and they suck at rolls. i cant even pass train kept rollin' anymore!!...why would they do this to me(us)!! i want my el's back

The EL drums that are being shipping out now as replacements are a far cry from the original EL model that was in the launch bundles.

If you receive one, don't just throw it back in the box. Try it out. You might find that it's the best you've ever played on yet :)

Listen to davidshek, he is 100% correct about getting an EL set that works perfectly. I got an EL replacement set back in December and it has worked perfectly for almost 6 months now. The new EL sets seem to be alot better now.

I just got an EL set from RMA the day before yesterday... not working right, unfortunately. Not that there's anything wrong with the EL model as far as bias from me. My PS3 has a set of EL's that work flawlessly.

I am hoping to get a perfectly funcitoning kit. I've had mine drums since launch but I have to hit them directly in the center to get a hit. I was hoping to get a QM since I heard you can register hits anywhere on the pad. If the new El's can do that without having to hammer on them I'll be satisfied.
