No, this isn't a clever thread about people who always get banned or get their posts deleted.

Let's welcome Magnet to the volunteer community mod team! Hooray!

Community mods (and thereby Magnet), are selected because they display a high and consistent level of maturity, lucidity, and calm.

Our plan is to add several more community mods (please do not request to become a volunteer mod - we already have a list of candidates that are already under review, whom we will be reaching out to shortly) over the course of this summer, what with the Euro launch and the Wii version coming out.

So, yeah, welcome to Magnet!

But maybe it's time to implement a community self moderating system and lay off the locks and bans. Community moderation systems allow for a better balanced opinion and in general more interesting threads of conversation.

But it's not my forums so I can only make the suggest (but if you need someone to lead the team developing changes to the forums let me know).

Before anyone ask I have never had a thread locked and only been banned once, and I don't mean once on this forum I mean once ever (it just happens to be on this forum).
