There are some awesome songs that need to be lived out in Rock Band, considering the Allman Brothers were one of the most impressive live shows ever.
The only hang up might be the drums, because they had two drummers, but just choose a drummer and go with it.
Midnight Rider, Blue Sky, Melissa, Stand Back, Trouble No More, Whipping Post, One Way Out, Ain't Wastin' Time No More! All great songs!
I may be alone on this, but I think Harmonix should start releasing songs that don't necessarily have the four member band format, opening up all sorts of options, such as instrumentals or songs that are only backed by guitar, or guitar and drums. The amount of albums and songs that would open up for Harmonix to use would open up tremendously. I honestly wouldn't mind holding off on singing, or going through a four to five minute break from my instrument just to hear a great song being played by friends. Maybe these songs wouldn't cost as much or maybe they would cost the same, whatever, I just want to play "In Memory of Elizabeth Reed", "Jessica", "Mountain Jam", "YYZ", and the countless folk-type songs with only a guitar and vocals or all the White Stripe songs that have only a guitar, vocals, and drums.
If anyone agrees with me, blow this thread up!
