It's clearly Jackson but which Jackson? Can someone tell me? I know we have plenty of bassist around here.

Sweet, I've never seen a Jackson bass like that before. Unless I'm mistaken, Jackson bass guitars generally have a curved body.

It's a Jackson Kelly. Never seen a bass with that body though.

It's a Jackson Kelly. It was Jackson's answer to the Gibson Explorer, and was Marty Friedman's signature model guitar before he switched to Ibanez, which of course is noted in the Jackson Kelly wikipedia page (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jackson_Kelly).

thats pretty vague, but i did get to see your ninja edit.im gonna guess either a viper, eclipse or F series, im leaning towards F series

Wow! thats right an F-404. Damn man that's pretty great, I'm looking to get the red finish, like that a lot more than black. Wow gj man.

Gorgeous! I saw the F-404 one day and I thought it looked completely badass, and I ended up doing some research, and realized its one of the most affordable basses (bass's, bassi?) on the market for it's quality (which is very high it seems), so I was like "Hell Yeah!" I have enough money, but I'm waiting until I'm really good to get bass, when I feel I deserve a new one (I know it's silly, but it gives me incentive to practice).

haha... if i were here, I would've said either an eclipse or an F series. I like the LP-style of the Eclipse, it's very clean, although I probably wouldn't buy a bass in that style, the F-404 is severely wicked though, good call. :D

Sweet, the big man endorses my decision haha. Every person I know that plays an instrument, I run that bass by them and every time they say "Awesome call!" I'm cheer a little inside. And when they say "Dude, bass sucks!" I burn their house down. Anyway thanks for the opinions guys.

Bassist amaze me.
Bass is the only primary rock instrument I have yet to really master.

Yeah, it's seriously a good pick. They're solid instruments indeed.
I did a photoshoot for a local band who plays only LTD/ESP instruments.. good stuff indeed.

Holy god when did they start making Les Paul basses?! (At least the top one looks like one). I swear I'm always left out of the loop, but I'm happy I was able to see those instruments, all of them look fantastic (the pin-up looking ones on the bottom are awesome!).

its called the eclipse series, not sure when they started making the basses, guitars have been around for around 20 years now

Exactly. Which is why I said I wouldn't buy a bass in the Eclipse series, because despite my strong love for Les Paul styled guitars, they just don't friggin' look right to me as a bass.
Although El Technico's Eclipse bass does look rather hot, I like it more than the Gibson LP basses. Also has a much more metal sound to it.
