I was just wonderign if there was any advantage in having more people on instruments than not. My friend and I play mostly, but sometimes people will co me over and play as well. When we didn't have those people I was debating on playing guitar AND singing to fill up another spot. I'd almost rather not (im not a public singer :) )....but wasn't sure if we gained anything by it

thanks

Only things I can think of is

A) usually more people = more fun
B) If someone is weak, you have more ways to bail them out

Having more people is definitely more fun; the more people you control in the band (instead of being filled in by random characters), the more it feels like"your band" as opposed to something you're just filling in. In addition, as DavesterBrrr points out, you have more flexibility with more people. Also, with three or four people you get more "wow" feeling when you all activate overdrive at the same time, at least in my opinion.

Also, if you ever intend to make any impact on the band scoreboards online, you'll need 3-4 people. You just can't get enough points with only 2.

You get higher scores for your Band Career Score, and get higher scores on songs for higher rankings.

oh okay. thanks a lot for your input. I agree, it's a lot more fun with more people. I was just more concerned with whether or not I might have to sing :)

thanks again, guys!
