View Full Version : Small little touches that you'd like to have in RB2

Another idea for a feature. Yay. XD
My family and a few of my friends were disappointed that there were no Canadian cities. I was a little surprised that there wasn't even Toronto or Calgary or anything, but it didn't bother me. I thought it was much cooler to be from Berlin or Stockholm.
But to please everyone who wants their hometown to be their actual hometown, why not have one city that the players can name (So they can be from their specific trailer park, suburb, village, or even a "Fake Town, USA") that has generic venues.
Even if "Toronto" with my one band had the same venues as "Hell", the hometown of another band, I just think it'd be a nice touch to add.
It would take away from a band's unique looking hometown venues, but I think it'd be a nice touch to add. (And one can select the city that it's closest to for BWT progression)
Anyone else have any ideas for little touches, or am I just a nit picker? ;)

That is the least of my worries. It would be nice though. I am more worried about the fact that I buy all the DLC if I like the songs or not. I have lots of friends that come over and they like songs that I don't. I am more worried about the fact that if/when RB2 is released will I be able to import songs I already got on my PS3 for RB will they be playable in RB2. In most cases it wouldn't bother me but for RB it will be very difficult to keep switching drum sets and such if they alter them. I really not sure what to think when it comes to this. It's frustrating.

I heard that they confirmed that all the RB DLC will work with RB2.
But we haven't heard of any news about the on-disc songs. It'd be a bit of a shame if we can't play those ones, but at least we'll have the DLC.

I'd like to see a note counter implented like in guitar hero three. It's a simple feature they must of overlooked while in production. I'd also like to see a bass solo tour mode. I love bass lol.
