How many points do you need to gold star Crushcrushcrush on vocals?

Ive 100% it and used OD like every possible time still no gold stars. Anyone know?

i'm pretty sure you have to play on expert to gold star songs , are you doing that?

The gold star mark is set just a little bit higher (1k or 2k or so) than the maximum number of points possible.
Annoying, I know. It happens more than it should.
