The three (now four) piece band from California has been at it for a while now and I thought they would be an excellent addition to the already impressive Rock Band DLC.

I know they have a new album out, but I decided to suggest songs from "With Love and Squalor" because I like that album better. :p

The Great Escape: (The solo is different in the album; this must be an early version.)

It's A Hit:

What's the Word:

So yeah, a We Are Scientists pack needs to happen. Other WAS fans please suggest/bother the devs about the lack of WAS in RB.

WAS is awesome!

But I think the guitar parts in most of their songs are very easy... let's cross fingers that they release at least 'Nobody move, Nobody get hurt'...

I'd would also like to see 'Chick Lit'

Finally, other people who want this band to be in there. I think they should release the whole With Love and Squalor Album. Then, Dinosaurs from their new album, Brain Thrust Mastery, The Bomb inside the Bomb from Safety, Fun, and Learning (In that Order) or Inaction EP (either version is good), and Coming Clean from Inaction EP.

Actually, the Inaction EP as a whole would be very do-able for Rock Band since it was self-released by the band. If the masters were lost, WAS would have no problem re-recording it. (They had no problem releasing it, *****ing!, and S,F,L (ITO) online for free.) If Virgin got the rights to all of their self-released material however, Harmonix is going to have to go through the whole red tape/negotiations thing again.

Well now the RB has been released in Europe... I wouldn't be surprised if they release something.

But man being realistic they won't release With Love and Squalor as a full album...

Maybe we'll get a single... and if we cross fingers maybe a 3 pack... and for that I choose:

Nobody move, Nobody get hurt
Chick Lit
The Great Escape

What are your picks?

These guys are great, I totally agree they should be in here. They have such a unique sound, there isn't anything like it in RB as of now.

Shameless bump. Also, the embeds no longer work. (Just copy the link in the garbled html.)

They're a band I haven't really had chance to explore yet. I love Chick Lit, though, so I'm sure they have other songs I'd like.

Yeah, not to rain on the W.A.S. hate, here, but I'm really not feeling their newer album. At all. That being said, With Love & Squalor is a genius album that would fit perfectly with the RB-formula; I'd purchase the entire album in a heart-beat.

"Nobody Move, Nobody Get Hurt" would be great in Rock Band for the drums alone. The guitar is pretty standard in the song, but the drums would be a blast. "Callbacks" would be fun, but it is really short.

Great Escape as a single would do me.

My 3-pack would be - Great Escape, It's a Hit, Chick Lit.

Ive seen them live they were terrible.

I saw them open for The Arctic Monkeys and they were significantly better.

But that's not saying much.

When I posted here before I'd only heard It's a Hit and Chick Lit. They've now become one of my favourite bands. I'd be happy with any of their songs in the game although my favourites are probably Worth the Wait, After Hours and That's What Counts. I imagine Lethal Enforcer would be a hoot to play too.

They also have the most awesome funny website ever.

I saw them live and it was incredible. The feeling of getting to reenact an amazing band playing live would be awesome.

1. The Great Escape (no doubt)
2. Chick Lit (might not be complex enough)
3. Nobody Move, Nobody Get Hurt

I was extremely disappointed when I found that none of their songs are in the 20 free songs. I was hoping that Harmonix had put in a song from these guys so more people would hear them. Hopefully we'll see a song pack from them one of these days.

Heck yes, this thread has my full support. You see I absolutely loved We Are Scientists, most notably their album With Love and Squalor.

To be perfectly honest, I really do NOT like their sophomore album. Their first was the most dance-a-riffic experience and I must say I love their drummer's canter.

The songs listed would make a perfect track pack. Inaction and/or Cash Cow would be awesome songs to include as well.

I just got into these guys. Pretty much any song off With Love with Squalor (especially The Great Escape) would make me very happy. They would be on the checklist in sig right now, but there's no more room.

Just listened to this band when looking through the The Lonely Island YouTube page. Have to say that the two songs I listened to (The Great Escape and Nobody Move, Nobody Get Hurt) are very cool songs and would be insane for drums. Hopefully we get some songs from these guys cause both of those songs are very very cool.

I would buy a W.A.S. album IMMEDIATELY I would love to have them as Rock Band DLC... Any of their songs would be great but I would probably prefer Chick Lit, It's a Hit, After Hours.. even if they were easy they would just be a blast for the whole family to play we all love them.

Rules Don't Stop (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QmjvnU4VKaA)

With the budget of a 30 Seconds To Mars clip, the raw fx firepower of James Cameron's Avatar, and the intensively rehearsed, flawless timing of an OKGO video, the new music vid from We Are Scientists proves once and for all that rules -- ahem -- truly do not stop these New York City dynamos.

Directed by the masters at LABOUR ( http://www.labour-ny.com/ ).

First single from their new album, Barbara and I LOVE IT! Would be so much fun to play...

Bump but I extremely agree with this thread. Any and all WAS would be much appreciated. I personally really want "Nobody Move, Nobody Gets Hurt" All else follows for me after that. Seriously, that guitar solo? Enough said right there! The vocals, the amazing bass line, and the unique drumline make that addition well worth it as well.
