What instrument are looking foward to playing the most. I've played GH2 so I now what guitar is like but it'll be interesting to see how Rock Band's guitar stacks ups to Guitar Hero's. The drums and the mic will be cool because I haven't played them in a video game yet. So I guess I'm dying to play drums and see how well I do singing. But guitar will be awesome to.

Anything on Don't Fear The Reaper. ;)
Overall, I think I'm actually most interested in the vocals. I'll play the hell out of the drums, but the vocals are starting to take the lead because I can showboat far more. :p

The Strat. I can find no flaws with her and as a guitarist my heart simply can not part with the guitar gameplay.
Drums will be cool. As a retired drummer I know the feel of that too.
Hmmm...guitar. Just can't let go of it. Second is the mic because my voice is a vocal climax.

Bass.....because no-one else will say it.
Although, I do have a good reason, if I play bass, I get to sing-along in chorus' and such.........I also may just get the highest score out of the band, what with that nice 6x multiplier.

Are we talking peripherals here or band positions?

I'm a bassist at heart, but to be honest, every time I dream of Rock Band (which I do) I always see myself playing drums. I just can't wait to begin again on a new peripheral, you know?

Maybe the mic.
I think everyone's underestimating how fun it will be, especially when songs like Gimme Shelter, and Epic in the game.

The first thing I'm going to do when I get the game is go play a song on Expert with the drums to see how fast I fail it :D So to the question, drums, even though I'm a guitarist

I'm definitely looking forward to sitting down at the drums again. I was able to play them on hard, but they were really kicking my ass.

I'm buying RB for the new peripherals like drums and mic but I know that as soon as I get this I'll plug in the guitar and play the whole game 3x (medium hard and expert) but I would really like to see how fun it would be to sing and play guitar at the same time might be a bit challenging.

yeah it might be hard to sing and play guitar or drums at the same time. I'll try it anyway to see how well i can do them at the same time.

Just played every instrument today, I am still loving the drums most, but I gotta say.. The mic is quite a piece of work. I will DEFINITELY be playing that alot as well.

Gah, fine, *guitar*......but I still think we should make a "bassists should be better appreciated" society.
Heh, away from that fun, Im really looking forward to the drums as a different edge from guitar...although singing is going to be a good laugh - im not playing it above easy difficulty, lol, I dont want even more embarassment!

Strat + Mic. Playing bass on the Strat, of course. Being Les Claypool and Geddy Lee AT THE SAME TIME ftw.

My favorite part about Guitar Hero was progressing from easy to expert, it was so fun and so satisfying. I'm looking forward to the drums for the sole reason of it giving me that same feeling I had as I progress through the difficulties. I'm really excited to try them out, and see how I do with them.
The new strat is really cool too, I really want to try out those solo buttons.
