If you're not going to stay for a whole song or (god forbid, more than one because you suck) ... (and I won't try to ferret out the reasons ... ), DON'T participate in on-line multiplayer quick-play!

Enough said!

I think it's more internet connectivity issues than what people think.

If I'm leader, the first thing I do is scroll through the song list looking for DLC. If there is none I back all the way out and try again.

If I'm not leader I'll stay, but if there is no DLC (or worse, there is DLC but the leader won't pick any) I'll leave after a couple songs.

I'm sorry if thats not polite, but I can nearly play Enter Sandman and Welcome Home with my eyes shut.

I'm pretty much the same way. I love playing online, but it's really annoying only always having to play stuff just from the disc. I've only come across maybe five people with DLC (more than just Still Alive) over the past few months.

This has nothing to do with DLC (and I have plenty, not everything, but plenty). This has to do with manners.

If you get it, great. Hey, look me up online!

If you don't, I'm not sure what to tell you, or how to explain this.

PS (in whisper): nobody remembers or cares about you when playing the online quick-band thingy. People just care about having fun. :)

I understand what you're talking about, but like the one guy said, I think the issue is with the network. I've had at least ten sessions today ruined by people leaving early, then maybe a few seconds later I was kicked off the network.

When the network does work properly, my biggest issue is still DLC. I can't stomach playing the same 10 songs all the time. I try to hang in a session for at least three songs unless I've got to do something, the song selection is unbearable (playing Flyleaf back to back sucks) or I'm taking a break from drums and the tool playing guitar won't switch for bass for an occasional song.

Like I said, I love playing online, but lately it's more hassle than it's worth trying to play online.

I just tried to play online (for the first time in months) and a lot of people, including myself, are having connectivity problems.

Foreal though i agree, but there hasbeen an issue with the network all day

Supposidly there is high solar activity ( i..e flares radiation screwing with the sats.)

only reason i know this was from watching Phoenix mars landing and hearing someone talk about the solar activity blocking some communication with the lander
