You knew they were going to do it eventually. This is their second holiday season, so I'm not at all surprised they're doing pack-ins now.

Of course, I wish they started a month ago so I could have saved myself $55 on Forza 2. Still worth it, but I'm all for saving money.

Really? I heard that the Core Systems would ship with: The system (wow duh), a 256 mb memory card, a wireless controller, and 5 free xbox live arcade games. This sounds like a much better deal than before, since you have to be ******ed to buy a system with no way to save your games.

If your speaking of the Premium, then that definitely sounds better than before. Hell, we may even see a hard drive upgrade alongside the new heat sinks eventually (here's hoping).

they said ALL SKUs your refferring to the as yet un-confirmed Xbox 360 arcade SKU. which if it launches this holiday would likely include the games I would think.

Wow, PS3 (or as I like to call it PS£) is gonna have an even tougher time this Xmas, whilst the gap between the Wii and 360 could become shorter.

There is no such thing as an "Arcade SKU", it's still the Core, it's just being revamped.
